Justin Hoke

Justin Hoke was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy at Harvard University and received a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music. He has studied composition with Chaya Czernowin, Steven Takasugi, Hans Tutschku, John Luther Adams, Robert Morris, Shulamit Ran, Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon, David Liptak, Carlos Sánchez-Gutiérrez. His works have been performed by a variety of international ensembles. Beyond music, Justin also devotes his time to fine-art photography, cooking, gardening, learning Chinese, petting cats, and championing the Oxford comma.
