Violists with the JACK Quartet and Talea Ensemble respectively, John Pickford Richards and Elizabeth Weisser are among the most gifted and enthusiastic contemporary proponents of their instruments. Between them they have worked with composers such as Pierre Boulez, Steve Reich, Helmut Lachenmann, and John Zorn, performed with International Contemporary Ensemble, Alarm Will Sound, Pasadena Symphony, Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra, and Grizzly Bear.
